Quite a few things you don't want to by from the PX. I hadn't seen this one tho.

Generally anything you can get at the Commisary is more expensive at the PX, and sometimes, if the Commisary carries it, it will be more expensive in the PX than it is down town. Commisary is a good deal though, at least on things that have a predictable pattern of sales. Not to good on the specialty stuff.

As for other things not to buy at the PX (and Commisary). OTC pharasuticals that are not a well know name brand are bad. I bought some ibuprophen some years ago that had no actual active ingredient in it. Quality checking of this type of stuff by the PX and Commisary is non existant.

How do you say: let the buyer beware.
