Edwards won't be a VP... PDF Print E-mail

...this doesn't surprise me much; I'd read somewhere he was angling to be Attorney General, a more powerful position than VP.

What does surprise me is how he hasn't endorsed either candidate and has indicated he will not. Maybe he's just staying neutral to retain the ability to join either cabinet. That seems like it could backfire...e.g., not backing either may mean he doesn't get picked at all. Or, he could've made the reverse deal: I won't endorse either if I get a spot in the winning candidate's cabinet.
