...so the CombatWife and I have followed
American Idol this year (a much needed break
from politics!), and last night was the finale with the voting to
be revealed tonight. Personally, I think David Cook is the better
performer and vocalist. I just don't get Archuleta - every song
sounds the same and his voice sounds kind of cartoonish (?). Yet
they heap praises upon him. I'm definitely no Simon Cowell, Paula
Abdul, or Randy Jackson but...really? Does he really sound that
good?
Anyway, when it's all said and done it will have been interesting
but nothing more.
UPDATE: Well, we just watched the finale and we were very pleased to see David Cook take the crown by a 12 million vote margin. Well done!
