...spoken like a pilot for a major airline. That doesn't mean what he has to say is without merit. Quite the contrary, the airlines shouldn't have to operate at a loss. That doesn't make sense. I would just want to ensure the airlines are operating efficiently before they jacked prices up. As far as 'unbundling', some of it makes sense. I may agree a lot more with the airlines unbundling if you were allowed to bring your own water and food on board, instead of being a captive audience with the choice either to not drink anything or pay $4 for a can of soda. Even better: offer realistic prices. |
