dw, IMHO, I don't think Israel will come under nuclear attack from Iran. Too close to home. Iran knows if they nuke Israel she will retaliation would be massive.

No one in the region would escape.

Far too risky.

Let us not forget that Imanutjob is somewhat suisidal, not in the sence that he will kill himself, but in the sence that he will commit his country to a fight it cannot win. Very much like Saddam did. Three times (1980, 1990, 2003).

Israel has twice before went on lightning strike missions (known to stratagists as isolated violence). The reactor in Iraq and an NBC facility in Syria. I don't think she will fail to respond this time. The real question is when.

I hear November is a good bet, but the Iranians would be waiting for that, better to do it on a date no one suspects. (But not one patently offencive to Judaism)

The balance of power will be re-established if Israel takes out the Iranian Nuclear facilities. Of course, then who knows what Iran will do to retaliate. The future, as always, is a crap shoot.
