...I was meandering (is that a word?) through the archives today. TRex, dw, BissBoss, Aleks, Magellan...do you realize we've been blogging/commenting here for a couple of years now? That's pretty dang cool.

I appreciate you all and feel that I am a better person for having known and communicated with you all.

Feeling is mutual. Thank you guys and thanx for this forum Rob and the time and energy you give to maintain it. Reading here I have learned and become conciously aware that a little humility on my part is needed. I ain't gonna give it but being aware of that lets me understand others a little better. Sorry I missed this post, summer is here and business is crazy. It has been fun and educating for me. I know my views aren't always popular, or correct lol ... but at least you treated me fair and with some respect. Thanks for the good, the bad and the ugly.

Comunication with others, like minded and some not so like minded, broadens the mind in ways that cannot be fathomed by those who do not engage others. Even a hardshell like myself can learn a thing or two. I have enjoyed learning about national stratagies from Aleks, learned about parts of society I had forgotten about from DW, and through Rob I am reminded constantly of the sacrifices our troops make.

From BissBoss I learned that sometimes I have to take a long walk to get another angle and learn that the world looks different from another's eyes, and through Magellan I learned that not all liberals are bad, even if I disagree with them.

Whether for oil, global stability, or global cooling, God will ultimately be in charge, and I desire his return more with each passing year. Much like Linus in the Pumkin Patch.

NO NO! All liberals are bad and magellan is the worst of the lot. He is involved in a global conspirisy. His name is a dead give away. Man you guys need to listen to me. I can save us all in spite of my complte lack of navigational skills.

There is a chance in the fall that I might be visiting Mother Russia(SPB), so I may need some advice on travel tips.

I am no Madonna or Angelina, so no adopting going to happen here smilies/cheesy.gif

And I am sure there are parts of the trip I will be able to share. If done correctly, it will include Poland and Russia, and maybe a little time in Amsterdam. Or maybe just Amsterdam and I will use google earth from the Bulldog coffee shop instead.
