Memo to GOP: do not compare Obama to Putin

This is a public service announcement from CombatEffective to the GOP.

Stupid sh** like this is not going to win enough people back across the aisle. President Obama won due to a number of factors, one of which was the change from petty politics he advocated. Whether that's happening or not is another story but what I do know is that you are not going to reclaim your former position by continuing to act like the Democrats ala President Bush.

Stop the stupid stuff and concentrate on, like, ideas...dudes.

How do I word this without offending. We are involved in a political civil war. The only violence so far is against our laws, property and rights of assioation, and specefic individuals that are unfortunate enough to be singled our by the junk yard journalist dogs and lawyers on the left. Remember the Haditha Marines and Ramos Compean and the nationalized false rape cases just to name a tiny few. If you had been one of those boys you might better understand the hatred of the socialist/fascists.

Does it not seem like we are compared to the hateful extreme right and condemned, while the Left is in fact an extremist collective.

I know I will be viwed as part of the extreme collective that exists on both sides of the isle and am fostering hate and violence. I wish that were the case. Just hand me over to the FBI I'll sign that last report as guilty of being against abortion, amnesty, open border, pro war in Iraq and the second ammendment and so on and so fourth. I have no interest in violence or lawbreaking for my beliefs but I am guilty anyway.

Some feared Obama would take it a step further just by losing the election and their were law enforcement preperations howbeit aimed at the right wing in case they joined in or merely defended themselves.

At some point civility and observing law will be contemptous to those that are fighting those that have no respect for law or civility.

Just a note. The Logan Act applys to the Obama and Hillary clearing their schedules, and disappearing on a dime to attend an economic summit held abroad. Wonder what the big boys talked about that will dramatically impact our economy and lives. I wonder if the minutes of that meeting and who attended will be made public? (rhetorical of course) LMDAO

I remember when you all would call me out for calling President Bush a fascist or Hitler ... now, you call President Obama a socialist, Putin, Chavez, etc...

They way people talk about what he is doing is like someone driving a car into a building, getting out and handing the keys to someone standing there, and saying, "What did you do?" You can say what you want about his policies or ideas, but it's hard to swallow that he directly is making the people poor.

Well, I will admit that Bush was a disappointment. He was elected (and re-elected) by conservatives who thought he was a conservative. We should have known that he was a moderate, and towards the end, he made the capital error of ignoring the impending meltdown.

But Obama, in 5 months has been able to spend, borrow, and print more money than Bush did in 8 years. He has reached out to our enemies much the same way the western nations reached out to Hitler's regime. He is reaching out to take control of several corporations (although I don't cry over corporations) and that has a lot of the right wing scared of what he might do next.

On a larger note, however, I consider him to be just the symptom of an America gone off the deep end of socialist madness. Between the corporatists (not the capitolists) on the right, and the socialists on the left, I don't see much hope for our nation anymore.

As a nation, we are hanging in the balance.

There are two bills being fought over in congress right now. Each of them threatens to be more expensive than the entire 8 years of the war on terror, and probably the next 4 years, also.

Should they pass, I don't see how we will ever recover from the financial damage they will do.

Can the nation declare bankruptsy?

The Chineese are already quietly lecturing us on creating too much socialism. They are afraid the money they loaned us will become worthless, do to the current government financial irresposibility.

Well if the Chinese are enemy and worried about our financial well being now then I hate to think what they will do after we send em back to the level of wealth they enjoyed all through their cultural revolution. Good thing they invested in their Long Dong's while they had the money and prestiege.

But I think they survive this and I need to work so I'd be willing to to China and work on building their rail system.
