Not sure it's murder. The protest looked like a riotious mob demandng stuff they know won't happen. Starting fires and throwing things. Was there looting? Police have their jobs. She was a crime statistic? Now if it is an illegal government and that was a revolution they did not declare then she is not a casualty of war? But they doan have weapons so I dount revolution was the intent unless they are thinking world infidel opinion was gonna protect them. Uprising? A spontanious erruption of uncontrollabe mass anger?

I am fed up with the bull. Lets define the Iranians actions and apply that defination universally. If it was riotious protest then she was a crime victim.

And even if she was a victim, victims are not always the good guys. The collective she died for wants a nuke for their nation no matter who is running it.

If they are sitting on a sea of oil and the enviornmentally concious Liberals hate fossil fuels then I think it is safe to say the Socialists wnat them to be in a position to make that nuke. But then again they already have one. Just haven't tested it yet.

She did not die for a collective. She did not die because the leaders of Iran want a nuclear weapon. She died because a tyrannical despot unleashed snipers on protestors.

She had to know the nature of the portest and her own government. Being there was a risk she took. Even making a show at the demonstration was support and she must have known that. Staying home was the only way to prove you were a non participant to my thinking.

For whatever it's worth it hurt watching that vid. I don't want to see people die, especially women and children.

DW, your feelings are understandable, but not factually correct. This is the reason I always espouse logic over feeling. It takes some small courage to do anything worthwhile, cross the ocean, voice the truth, stand up against a wicked dictatorship, or against religious tyranny.

This young woman was murdered by Iranian sharpshooters who are too cowardly to go out into the crowded street and instead try to silence them with terrorism. Of course, that is the Muslim way. Yes, I will lay this right at the door of the Muslim world. And warn moderates that the Muslim world does not consider them Muslim, and therefore they are to die by the sword.

It looks like the crackdown they were preparing for
was happening already as you were reading that article. Or, is this just

I think what DW was hinting at, is lets not be so quick to embrace the reform activists in Iran as our buddies.

I would imagine most of them have belted out a "Death To America" once or twice in their lifetimes. I'm sure many in the crowd support Iran's pursuit of Nuclear power, and weapons. I've never heard a reformer claim to want to abandon the program. I'm sure most of them are conditioned to hate Jews, and have no problem with their nation arming their Shiite Brothers in Hezbollah.

So yeah, they may want to end Mullah rule, for reasons of increased personal freedom, and thats certainly a noble cause, but a reformist victory in Iran is probably not in America's or the regions best interest..... at least not now..... at least not until the Israelis destroy their Nuclear infrastructure. Simply because its easier to muster support for blowing up a raving lunatic's nuclear program than it would be to blow up a reformist led governments. Which, following that logic, having this video going viral in the west helps "our" cause.

And you know, I dont remember any of the Ayatollahs actually storming our embassy back in 79. As I recall it was "Iranian Students". I'm not still mad at just the Mullahs, I'm still pissed at the Iranian people. I dont recognize any "Good Iranians" in these images of rioting on the streets of Tehran.

What if btw, this girl had been a member of the Mahdi Army protesting the occupation of Iraq on the streets of Baghdad in a burka, and the Iraqi army had shot her claiming the thought she had a suicide belt on ..... would it be getting the same emotional play in the west?

Yes! "not so quick to embrace the reform activists" (their are a few things I admire about so called moderate Islam. But they are not uniquely Islamic. So when the whole faith dies nothing is lost).

I must point out two things, though - first, that the "students" who took over the embassy were orchastrated by the Ayatollahs. I suspect you know that, but just meant that the actual work was done by people who might now be the very ones holding the "where's my vote" signs. Second, the world has never told Iran they couldn't have nuclear power (their need for it is real, as their oil reserves are running out), we just told them they would have to stick to technologies that couldn't be easily weaponised. This seems to have been forgotten.

Extremely good perception/analisys about it being easier to
bomb a lunitic dictator off the map than a moderate republic,
even if the moderates present just as much of a threat.

I too look forward to the day when Islam and Iran are (for all practical purposes) exterminated. From my understanding of the Prophesies in Ezekiel and the Revelation, this will come to pass in the next several years. (No I will not try to predict the date, but I think quite a bit less than 40 years)

Well, consider that we ourselves may already have the bomb, but we can't develope our own nuclear power.

RT first brought up the question 'do the protestors also want their nation to have a bomb? I would love the hear the MSM ask the protesters themselves what their views are on becomming a nuclear power.

Rex! That prediction you cannot make? My seculaer agrement says it can happen any day or year through a series of unfortunate events. Possibly one guy like lil kimmie could make it so.
