This guy is a piece of work. You can’t trust a word that comes out of his mouth. And his description – if true – of events regarding his newest victim sounds like he was on drugs. I wish Peru had the death penalty.
By no means do I give the GOP a pass on anything, but just as an intellectual exercise: can you imagine the fury that would be aimed as President Bush over BP, were he still the CINC?
…interesting. I would not have the Kingdom would have given the green light for this. I understand the dynamic (Iran is not Arab, it’s a Persian country). Saudi probably doesn’t want a nuclear Iran any more than we do…all the same, I think giving Israel a green light is…interesting.
UPDATE: It’s more accurate to say I find the Saudi Arabian’s agreeing to the green light interesting.

…CombatEffective is back! Apologies for the absence. The original site was hacked about three months ago; they did a number on it. It was so bad, the host (LunarPages) suspended the account (it’d been hijacked and was sending out massive quantities of email). They sent me a couple of pages worth of data, showing all of the corrupted files.
This happened at a terrible time. Not only was I coming up on my promotion test, the job was keeping my crazy busy, I was midterm in classes, and we were closing in on the birth of our baby…and a move. So…I couldn’t do much with it.
I’m now in a position to bring the site back to life. Unfortunately, I’m terminating my relationship with LunarPages after several years…for reasons I will later elaborate on. Right now, this new blog is being hosted on Rochenhost.

P.S. Birth went well; we have a baby girl! Also, move is done, I got an A and a B in the classes (Organizational Behavior, Managerial Accounting), and I’ve been selected for promotion. A great year so far!
