Absolutely outrageous doesn’t begin to describe this act. The last line of this article sums up what Blue Shield is doing.

They are, of course, a business. Remember that in dealing with them. They DO NOT have your best interests at heart.

Though some (Barney Frank) are objecting to this on the basis that the Supreme Court is the ultimate check on legislative power, I think it’s a fantastic idea. It would put each legislator on the record as having backed a bill according to a provision of the founding document. In other words, it would limit their weasel power…if only a little.
This isn’t going to do anything; the Palin’s cannot stand in the way of economic reality. Anyone who runs into this neighborhood thinking this means good things for the area deserves the hit they’re going to take in the pocketbook.
…and that is as it should be. Had he the strength of his convictions, he should have resigned when President Obama was elected, not decide to do this after getting deployment orders. By playing this game, he has put the life of another Army soldier – who had to go in his stead – in jeopardy.
